We at iRage are an agile, young team of exceptional programmers, quants, and traders. We are looking for the smartest quants to outsmart markets and solve some of the most challenging engineering problems in the fast-paced algorithmic trading industry.

Role Summary – Senior Trader

At iRage, you’ll work with a small, elite team of quants and engineers to:

• Mine terabytes of market data for microstructural patterns.
• Design, backtest, and deploy strategies that exploit inefficiencies.
• Optimize execution, reduce latency, and squeeze out every basis point.

What you’ll do:

• Turn raw market data into alpha-generating signals.
• Build models that predict price movements at sub-millisecond timescales.
• Push trading infrastructure to its physical limits (FPGAs, kernel bypass, ultra-low-latency C++).
• Continuously hunt for new strategies while refining existing ones.

You’re a fit if you:

• Know markets deeply – You understand order books, liquidity dynamics, and how real-world trading actually works.
• Code fluently – Python/R for research, C++ for speed (or willingness to learn).
• Have a competitive streak – You want to win, and you’re obsessed with measurable results.

Bonus points for:

• Prior HFT experience (even if just personal projects).
• Experience with hardware acceleration (GPUs, FPGAs).
• A GitHub full of math/quant projects.
