Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in building robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks. This role is central to ensuring high-quality software delivery for SearchUnify, our AI-powered cognitive search platform.If you’re passionate about automation, experienced in Java and modern QA tools, and eager to work in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams—this opportunity is for you.Key Skills
  • 5–6 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
  • Proficient in Java for automation scripting.
  • Hands-on expertise with frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, JUnit.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket.
  • Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and open-source tools.
  • Build and execute automated scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Identify, log, and manage bugs using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform end-to-end API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  • Ensure reliability and stability of test environments.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and reviewing code.
