Job Summary

We are inviting applications from dynamic and dedicated dental professionals for the position of Senior Resident (SR) in the Departments of Dental Profession. The SR will actively participate in clinical care, teaching, academic activities, and research, contributing to the overall development of the department and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical supervision of undergraduate/postgraduate students and interns.
• Participate in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment planning within the department.
• Contribute to teaching and academic discussions, including lectures, seminars, and case presentations.
• Support and guide research activities and departmental publications.
• Maintain patient records and ensure clinical documentation is up to standard.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and ethical standards in patient care.
• Participate in inter-departmental collaborations, workshops, and community outreach programs.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in academic and administrative functions.

Qualifications

• BDS with MDS in the relevant specialty from a DCI-recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the State Dental Council/DCI.
• Fresh MDS graduates or candidates with relevant teaching/clinical experience are preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Sound clinical knowledge in the respective specialty.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
• Commitment to teaching, research, and patient care.
• Basic computer and digital radiography/lab software proficiency is a plus.
