Senior Node.Js Developer ( Nest.Js / Typescript )

As a software developer at Dreamcast, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust server-side applications using Node.js, Laravel, and Nest.js. Your role will involve designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across various devices and platforms. You will also be tasked with managing databases, optimizing queries, and implementing data storage solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features will be a key aspect of your role. Participating in code reviews to maintain quality, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and conducting unit testing to ensure code quality are essential responsibilities. You will also contribute to architectural decisions and improvements for highly scalable applications. Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance your skills will be expected. Integrating third-party services and APIs to extend application capabilities, documenting development processes, code changes, and technical specifications, as well as participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives will be part of your routine. Working closely with product managers to align development with business objectives and mentoring junior developers to provide guidance on best practices and coding standards are additional responsibilities. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in software development focusing on Node.js and Laravel. A strong understanding of the Nest.js framework, RESTful API design and development, knowledge of AWS and Redis, and hands-on experience with database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL are required. You should also have a keen understanding of microservices architecture principles, familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git), solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Experience in Agile software development methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for coding and delivering high-quality software solutions are necessary. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and willingness to learn new technologies and expand skill sets will be highly valued. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, knowledge of CI/CD processes, and skills in agile methodology, PHP, TypeScript, and team collaboration are desired.,
