RVCJ Media Group is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth across its group companies- RVCJ Media, The Logical Indian, Salt Media and Marketing Mind. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic partnerships and revenue initiatives within India’s leading digital media network. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in digital media sales and also in Client relationship building. Key Responsibilities: Identify new businesses and lead to effective conversions in the field of content marketing, meme campaigns, campaign amplification across our social channels, ad production, integrated content like web series, short format content pieces etc. Create and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and agencies. Create compelling sales pitches and offer customized proposals as per client needs. Work closely with creative teams to understand offerings and identify the right set of clients accordingly. Make proposals and close deals to meet revenue targets Maintain a database of all clients and keep the management updated of all the possible interactions and opportunities Proactively upsell the company’s offerings and also maintain long term client relations to get repeat business. Qualifications: Degree in marketing, business, or related field 3 to 5 years of experience in business development, especially in digital media sales and advertising Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Have existing relationships with top level CMOs, marketing heads, media buyers and media agencies Proactive approach to identify and close clients Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills Thorough understanding of content solutions in digital space Ability to convert deals in the ticket size of 50L to 1Cr Ability to create pitch decks as and when required and offer tailored proposals.
