Senior Interior Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing design concepts, and executing final plans that reflect the client's vision. Your role will involve collaborating closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure all aspects of the design process are smooth and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret client briefs to develop design concepts that meet their requirements.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3DS Max to visualize design concepts.
• Produce mood boards, material boards, and presentation documents to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Coordinate with project architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design specifications are implemented correctly.
• Oversee the project from concept through to completion, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
• Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and progress, ensuring design integrity is maintained.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proven work experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design aesthetic and technical skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DS Max, and other design software.
• Knowledge of building codes, materials, and finishes.
• Strong creative and artistic abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in commercial and residential interior design projects.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and practices.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
