- Assisting Safety Manager in implementing the OH&S Plan
- Understanding the Policy, targets and objectives of company and update all concerned
- Implementing Company OH&S Policy, Procedures and to fulfil the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
- Highlight the Rrsk associated with various task and propose the mitigation Plan
- Conducting regular Inspection for potential hazard, unsafe actions etc. and suggest suitable improvement/ corrective measures and escalate to Management
- Coordinating with concerned department to ensure statute compliance
- Enhancing safety awareness through promotional activities
- Conducting mock drills
- Updating self and keeping others informed on current OH&S statute requirements, codes of practices etc.
- Following the check lists and permit system and preserve and present the same for audits/ Inspections
- Preparing OH&S statistics and circulate to all concerned
- Maintaining records of training, exposure monitoring, investigations and medical examinations
