Job Title: Senior Design Engineer Location: Surat Department: Engineering / R&D Job Summary: Were looking for a Senior Design Engineer with a strong foundation in design principles, innovative problem-solving skills, and hands-on engineering experience. Youll lead design initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in turning concepts into manufacturable, high-performance products. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Lead Design Projects: Take ownership of end-to-end product or component design, from concept through detailed engineering to production release. 3D Modeling & Drafting: Create detailed CAD models and technical drawings using tools like Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar. Design Validation: Conduct simulations (FEA/CFD), testing, and prototyping to validate and optimize designs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability. Analyse design challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions with attention to quality and safety standards. Documentation & Standards Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all designs meet industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities to improve design processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and product quality. Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s in Mechanical/Industrial/Product Design Engineering or a related field 5+ years of relevant design engineering experience Proficient in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA software and engineering analysis tools Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
