Senior Design Engineer

• Product design & development.
• Understanding of regulations applicable to devices, particularly standards.

• including 21CFR820, ISO 13485 throughout the design and development process

• Knowledge of material selection, International standards, and norms.
• Proficient in Pro-E
• Knowledge of Sheetmetal, Welding, Marking Methods like Laser marking, Engraving, Stamping, Silk screening, etc.
• Good experience in dFMEA, DFM, Basic GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up.
• Concept design and development.
• Understanding of biomedical and bio-mechanical engineering, or biomaterials.
• Knowledge of manufacturing process, engineering change process, Design Verification and Validation, Design and Risk Management documents.
• Blueprint/Engineering schematic reading and interpretation.
• Basic inspection techniques, inspection methods.
• Responsible for the timely and quality deliveries of the assigned tasks.
• Work as point of contact for all project related aspects with the stakeholders.
• Ensure continual improvement in delivering higher value services and productivity.
• Manage partnerships with vendors and SME’s as needed.
• Contribute to absorption of new technologies, processes and methods.
• Develop an open culture to instill confidence, diversity of perspectives and knowledge sharing.
• Develop an environment to focus on customer needs.

Education

• B. Tech / B.E / M. Tech / M.S. – Mechanical

Experience

• Experience: 5-7 years
