Senior Civil Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Civil Site Engineer to oversee the on-site execution of large-scale civil construction projects, including township developments, villas, clubhouse buildings, and commercial structures. This is a 100% field-based role requiring full-time presence at the project site in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of site execution, leading construction teams, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining timelines and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Management

• Ensure full-time supervision and presence on the construction site.
• Oversee day-to-day site execution activities, including earthworks, RCC, masonry, finishing, and services.
• Coordinate with various contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and labor teams to ensure uninterrupted work progress.

Project Execution

• Manage and execute construction activities for:
• Township Development
• Villa Construction
• Clubhouse & Recreational Buildings
• Commercial Buildings / Retail Units
• Implement construction as per approved architectural and structural drawings.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.

Team Leadership

• Lead a team of site engineers, supervisors, and workers.
• Allocate tasks, set daily goals, and monitor performance of all site personnel.
• Foster a culture of safety, discipline, and productivity at the site.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Monitor and enforce quality control standards during all stages of construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a hazard-free site.
• Conduct regular inspections and rectify deviations or non-conformities.

Planning & Coordination

• Plan daily work schedules and resource allocation (labor, materials, equipment).
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with the purchase department to ensure timely delivery of materials and site requirements.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), site logs, and material consumption records.
• Record measurements, prepare running bills, and assist in quantity estimation.
• Provide regular updates to the Director or senior management on work status, challenges, and milestones.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Deep expertise in civil engineering construction practices and on-site execution
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings
• Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in site documentation, reporting, and billing
• Sound knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and quality standards
• Familiarity with project management software and MS Office tools
• Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in site execution of township, villas, and commercial/residential buildings
• Work Environment: Must be willing to work exclusively at the construction site with no office-based role involved

• Work Location: Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh (Field-Based Role Only)
• Working Hours: As per site shift requirements
• Travel: Local travel to nearby project areas if required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
