Senior Civil Engineer (Billing)

• Client Billing:
• Preparing and submitting accurate and timely client invoices based on contract terms and project progress.
• Reconciling quantities and costs with client bills and ensuring proper certification.
• Managing extra item bills and variation orders, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Tracking and monitoring billing progress and preparing monthly billing reports.
• Interacting with clients for bill certification and addressing queries.
• Subcontractor Billing:
• Preparing and processing subcontractor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
• Reconciling material and labor costs with subcontractors.
• Cost Management:
• Tracking project costs against the budget and identifying potential cost overruns.
• Preparing rate analyses for extra items and securing necessary approvals.
• Monitoring material consumption and identifying discrepancies or waste.
• Assisting in the preparation of cash flow statements.
• Contract Management:
• Reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with billing terms and conditions.
• Maintaining records of variation orders, deviations, and change requests.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Providing guidance and support to junior billing engineers and other team members.
• Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, and QS teams.
• Attending client and PMC meetings as required.
• Technical Expertise:
• Studying drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
• Taking accurate measurements from drawings and site.
• Understanding and applying relevant IS codes and standard billing practices.
• Providing technical guidance and support for engineering projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
