Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Checker- SDS located in Hyderabad. The Senior Checker- SDS will be responsible for reviewing and checking detailed structural steel designs and connections, ensuring adherence to SDS/2 standards. Daily tasks include verifying drawings for accuracy, coordinating with the design team, performing quality checks, supervising junior checkers, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure project deadlines and quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SDS/2 and detailed structural steel design
• Experience with TEKLA software and detailing processes
• Strong background in quality control and verification of engineering drawings
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior checkers
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Effective communication and coordination abilities
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience in managing projects and meeting tight deadlines
