SAP Basis - Expert

As a Sr. SAP Basis consultant or SAP cloud technology engineer with experience in SAP HANA, S/4, and SAP cloud infrastructure technology, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused SAP Basis services to a global customer base. Your role will encompass both project delivery and support and maintenance activities as per rostered duties. You will collaborate closely with the user community, IT colleagues, and clients to identify appropriate solutions, taking ownership of the delivery process from design to implementation and support tasks. Core Accountabilities: - Lead technical teams in mid-size to large projects. - Coordinate and collaborate technically within the team. - Ensure successful delivery of complex engagements based on best practices. - Handle infrastructure sizing, installation, migration, upgrades, patching, integration, fine-tuning, and customization of customer SAP landscapes. - Demonstrate foundational knowledge of SAP Technologies principles like SAP HANA migration, S/4 Migrations, and cloud vendor technologies. - Possess basic skills in database technology for non-HANA systems like MS, Oracle, and DB2. - Familiarity with ITIL policies, procedures, and standards, along with other methodologies. - Contribute to knowledge sharing within the community. Job Specific Duties: - Contribute to design deliverables ensuring alignment with project outcomes. - Independently implement solutions for SAP workloads. - Quickly adapt to changes in the cloud space, including new platforms and tools. - Contribute to building documentation and best practices for SAP. - Obtain and maintain platform and SAP vendor certifications. - Experience and willingness to work in a technology consulting environment. - Assist team members in technical solution development and implementation (Implementations, Upgrades, Migrations). - Provide BASIS support for projects involving HANA and S/4HANA. - Offer architectural guidance on cloud migration (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Re-use existing Knowledge Management to expedite solutions delivery. Job Requirements: - Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis technologies. - SAP HANA and SAP Migration certified. Preferred certification in cloud infrastructure technologies like Azure or AWS. - Expertise in configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP environments. - Experience in Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, Migrations, Conversions, etc. - Technical proficiency in operating systems and database administration. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Manage SAP systems effectively. - Experience with upgrades, patching, system copies, and migrations. - Prior experience in client interaction and team leadership. - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
