Job Description As SalesForce.com Technical Lead within the Enterprise Platform Services Delivery Team, you will join a high-performance group chartered to deliver enterprise-wide solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with global IT p roject delivery team working in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Services, Global Operations and Finance organizations to design and deliver high-quality Salesforce.com solutions for Direct and Indirect Sales Channels (Sales Cloud and Partner Relationship Management PRM). You will also work closely with other IT teams that support Agilent s business systems and infrastructure.
Job Description
The Salesforce.com Technical Lead will play a key role in providing technical leadership in developing solutions in Salesforce.com to meet business requirements. Specific responsibilities are:
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with business and other solution teams, to define requirements and present solutions.
- Responsible for directing and leading developer resources to accomplish project goals
- Responsible for developing in Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, React, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
- Leading technical design sessions and writing technical design documents
- Provide technical leadership and establish best practices across integration, application development, deployment, testing (both unit and system), and iterative improvements.
- Supervise the technical scope and ensure the quality of all deliverables .
- Design and develop integration between applications and other systems as may be required
- Implement new Salesforce solution for CRM and PRM business processes integrated with SAP CRM, ECC, and SAP CPQ
- May assume overall IT project management roles in small to medium-sized projects
- Explore new Salesforce offerings and work with product experts to explore new solutions, demo to the Agilent business team and prepare the roadmap for future growth
Qualifications - Bachelor s degree in information systems or computer science, with a focus on business applications and Information Technology. An advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 8+ years of Salesforce.com implementation experience with hands-on experience in configuration, customizations and integration with other ERP applications.
- Experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect & SFDC Developer .
- Experience implementing Salesforce s Sales Cloud and PRM solutions .
- Certified Force.com Advanced Developer (DEV-501), Platform Developer II or equivalent experience
- Understanding and working knowledge of integrating third-party components with Salesforce using REST/SOAP APIs or Data Loader
- Strong hands on experience utilizing Salesforce Apex, Visual Force, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOCL, and DML for customization and development.
- Experience implementing AI using Salesforce Einstein for automation and improving user productivity
- Experience completing multiple end-to-end Salesforce.com implementation projects requiring integration into legacy and other ERP systems using Salesforce APIs
- Experience building applications using No-Code/Low Code applications using Flow builder and Process builder.
- Experience in object modeling in Salesforce and understanding of fundamental database concepts
- Solid grasp of CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment strategies within Salesforce environments.
- Professional experience leading the end-to-end Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including structured code management, environment management, continuous integration
- Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and deployment tools
- Ability to multi-task & handle fast paced situations
- Excellent Oral and written communication Skills
- Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in close collaboration within a team, and able to use good judgment to make effective decisions within appropriate risk mitigation.
