Sales Executive

Role Overview: A Sales Executive in a retail store is responsible for ensuring a high-quality shopping experience for customers while achieving sales targets. They act as the face of the store, engaging with customers to meet their needs and promoting products effectively. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases. Provide detailed information about products, including features, benefits, and pricing. Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly. Sales: Drive sales by recommending products based on customer preferences and needs. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue. Meet or exceed monthly and daily sales targets. Merchandising: Ensure that the store is well-stocked and products are displayed attractively. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages. Arrange promotional displays and ensure promotional materials are in place. Billing and Payments: Operate cash registers or billing systems efficiently. Process transactions, issue receipts, and handle payment modes (cash, credit cards, UPI, etc.). Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable. Ensure shelves and product racks are neatly arranged. Market Awareness: Stay updated on current trends, new products, and competitor offerings. Provide feedback to the management on customer preferences and market trends. Skills Required: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities. Basic knowledge of billing systems and payment handling. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. A customer-focused approach and problem-solving attitude. Qualifications: Minimum qualification: 12th pass (Higher Secondary) or a diploma in sales/marketing. Prior experience in sales or retail is an advantage but not mandatory.
