Job Description

Cornerstone International group is a AESC accredited global executive search firm. Our client, a German MNC in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Deputy Managing Director to be based in their New Delhi office.

Experience in Sales and Marketing of OTC and prescription medicine is required. The budget for this role is 2 Cr.

  • Strong track record in Sales & Marketing and team management.
  • Sales & Marketing will be responsible for managing all brands, distribution channels, and development of sales for the organization.

  • Minimum 5 years in GM position and at least 3 years in Director’s role in any pharma company and has been responsible for P&L of the business and handled a minimum All India
  • Team of 500 people
  • Exposure in the OTC and Ethical market and developing a brand is a must, apart from the Ethical division.
  • He will also be responsible for developing the strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.
  • His prime responsibility would include development of a brand in short term in the OTC and Ethical segment and to develop two brands in mid to long term in the OTC and Ethical segments.
  • He would also be responsible for the P&L of the formulation business and delivering the profitable growth on a consistent basis.
  • Develop, plan and implement commercial strategies and tactics to drive business growth based on market insights.
  • Leading a team with inspiration, guidance, and support – enabling a continuous learning curve and evolution of employees in a result-driven performance culture.
  • He will be responsible for Strategic Planning and Delivery of Business Results and formulate and execute the Marketing plan.
  • Proactively lead the team in achieving and exceeding goals with strong collaboration with business partners and resources.
  • Achievement of primary and secondary sales targets.
