Quality Control Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical

Job Title: Quality Control Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical Company: Endeavour Instrument Pvt. Ltd. | Ahmedabad, Gujarat Products: EOT Cranes & Gantry Cranes Compensation: CTC up to ₹35,000 per month What You’ll Own Incoming-Material Quality Check – inspect every batch against drawings & master samples. Material-Standard Compliance – verify all MS sections to IS / EN standards before release. Rejection Follow-up – log, quarantine, and drive corrective actions for any rejected lots. Rework Control – track, expedite and re-inspect rework material until it’s OK-to-use. Inspection Reporting – issue clear incoming-material “feel” reports for QC records. Supplier Rejection Rating – analyse supplier PPM, highlight trends and work with them on fixes. Material Control at Gate – stop defects early; implement tagging & FIFO at the receiving bay. Job-work Material Inspection – audit outsourced machining / fabrication on arrival. Certificate Verification – chase TC / MTC for every heat & component, file them to the job dossier. Long-Term Hold Decisions – assess aged stock and decide scrap / use / re-test. Lathe Shop Oversight – spot-check in-house machining for tolerance & surface finish. In-Process Checks – patrol the line, issue in-process inspection reports and sign-offs. Must-Have Qualifications Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (only these streams considered). 2–5 years QC/QA experience in heavy fabrication, cranes, hoists, or similar capital equipment. Able to read fabrication drawings, WPS/PQR basics, GD&T, and use micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, etc. Familiar with ISO 9001 paperwork and root-cause tools (5 Why, Ishikawa).
