Prototype build technician - mechanical

You will be responsible for assisting in vehicle assembly and rework tasks during prototype builds. Your role will include maintaining detailed build documentation and records, as well as supporting troubleshooting and problem-solving during prototype development. Collaboration with engineering and quality teams will be essential to ensure build accuracy and quality. To qualify for this position, you should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering along with 10+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle assembly, prototyping, or workshop builds. Strong practical skills and in-depth knowledge of 3-wheelers, particularly chassis, drivetrain, and brake systems, are required. You must demonstrate a proven ability to diagnose root causes of issues and implement effective fixes. Being based in Pune, India is a prerequisite, and a basic understanding of English is required, with Hindi being a plus.
