Key Responsibilities – Project Manager (Construction Industry)

  • Project Planning & Scheduling
  • Prepare detailed project execution schedules using project management tools.
  • Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants for input in schedule planning.
  • Monitor progress against the schedule and adjust timelines as required.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control
  • Prepare and manage project budgets in coordination with the finance and procurement teams.
  • Track and control costs to ensure the project remains within budget.
  • Approve vendor and subcontractor bills in line with progress and contracts.
  • Team Coordination & Leadership
  • Lead site and office teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure accountability.
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Procurement & Resource Management
  • Plan and ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Liaise with the purchase department and vendors to avoid delays or shortages.
  • Oversee inventory management on site.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Enforce health and safety standards and legal compliance on the construction site.
  • Conduct regular inspections and coordinate third-party quality checks when required.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and changes.
  • Address client concerns and implement feedback efficiently.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve technical and operational issues on-site promptly.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, daily logs, change orders, and approvals.
  • Prepare progress reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely submission of project completion reports, handover documents, and client sign-offs.
  • Contract Management
  • Understand and implement contract obligations with clients and subcontractors.
  • Handle contract variations, claims, and negotiations.
  • Project Closeout
  • Supervise final inspections, defect rectification, and handover processes.
  • Ensure completion certificates, warranties, and as-built drawings are obtained and submitted.

Work Location - Chemmad , Malappuram

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
