Job Title: Production Manager – Modular Furniture Manufacturing Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: Fresjer to 3+ Years in Drafting & Production Industry: Interior Design / Furniture Manufacturing / Architecture About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Manager with a strong background in technical drafting to join our growing interior design team. This role is critical in ensuring design intent is accurately translated into precise technical drawings for production and execution. The ideal candidate must be a hardcore draftsman at heart — someone who lives and breathes AutoCAD, knows how to create and read 2D plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details, and understands the language of the factory floor. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D production drawings, joinery details, and cutting lists for in-house and outsourced manufacturing. Act as a bridge between the design team and production unit, ensuring all designs are technically sound and factory-ready. Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, and fabricators to execute interior elements such as furniture, modular units, and customized fixtures. Perform site measurements, material checks, and quality assurance before and during production. Supervise and monitor the production timeline, ensuring design accuracy and on-time delivery. Maintain documentation, BOQs, and drawing archives. Attend project meetings, provide feedback on feasibility, and suggest design optimizations. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design drafting/production. Expert in AutoCAD(Mandatory), with a strong portfolio of technical drawings. Good understanding of materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes. Ability to read, interpret, and develop complex design and construction drawings. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience in working with modular furniture manufacturing or custom joinery is a must. Excellent coordination and communication skills.
