Job Title: Procurement Officer Location: Manjeri kerala Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Procurement Officer will oversee all procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials. This role is essential to maintaining smooth operations, controlling costs, and supporting production and sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock. Process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval protocols. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, finance) to forecast needs and plan procurement accordingly. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement. Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategic supplier relationships. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the home appliance or electronics industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of relevant regulations and contract management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
