Procurement Engineer

You will be joining as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in the Supply Chain and Procurement department. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects such as sourcing, vendor management, and coordination with different departments. Your responsibilities will include assisting in vendor research, developing relationships, procurement operations, supplier coordination, audits, documentation, logistics, cross-functional coordination, and supply chain support. Your main duties will involve conducting market research to identify vendors, participating in procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials, conducting supplier audits, coordinating shipment documentation, liaising with freight forwarders, and working closely with other departments to align procurement with project requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, data entry, purchase order processing, and other documentation tasks. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles, good communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, preferably a recent graduate or having up to 1 year of experience in a related field. The working hours for this position are from 01:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and the location is Vadodara. This role will provide you with valuable exposure to global procurement processes, supplier management, material handling, and logistics, contributing to the timely and quality delivery required to meet production goals.,
