Role Summary:

The Principal will serve as the academic and administrative head of the college, responsible for leadership, policy formulation, academic excellence, and smooth functioning of the institution. The Principal will promote research, faculty development, and maintain compliance with regulatory authorities such as the Physiotherapy Council of India (PCI) and relevant universities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all academic, administrative, and operational activities of the college.
• Ensure implementation of curriculum and academic policies aligned with affiliating university and PCI norms.
• Recruit, develop, and appraise faculty and staff to foster a motivated and qualified team.
• Oversee student admissions, discipline, academic performance, and overall welfare.
• Encourage and facilitate research, publications, and participation in professional development.
• Manage resources efficiently, including budgeting, infrastructure, and facilities.
• Maintain liaison with university authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, accreditation, and quality assurance requirements.
• Promote a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity within the institution.
• Represent the college in academic, professional, and community forums.
• Monitor and evaluate institutional performance and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT)

15 years of experience

5 years of experience as a Professor

Desirable Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Physiotherapy

Independent published work of high standard
