Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all academic, administrative, and operational activities of the college. Ensure implementation of curriculum and academic policies aligned with affiliating university and PCI norms. Recruit, develop, and appraise faculty and staff to foster a motivated and qualified team. Oversee student admissions, discipline, academic performance, and overall welfare. Encourage and facilitate research, publications, and participation in professional development. Manage resources efficiently, including budgeting, infrastructure, and facilities. Maintain liaison with university authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with statutory, accreditation, and quality assurance requirements. Promote a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusivity within the institution. Represent the college in academic, professional, and community forums. Monitor and evaluate institutional performance and implement improvements. · Educational Qualifications: · Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the PCI. · Experience : · A total of 15 years of experience in the field of physiotherapy education and practice. · This must include at least 5 years of experience as a Professor in a recognized physiotherapy institution. · Additional Desirable Qualifications: · A Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or an allied discipline recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). · Independent published work of high standard in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
