Principal

The Preschool Principal is responsible for managing and leading the preschool to ensure a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for children and staff. The role includes developing curriculum standards, overseeing faculty and staff, and meeting with parents to discuss children's progress. The principal will also handle administrative duties, budgeting, and compliance with educational regulations. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the preschool. Develop and implement educational programs and curriculum in line with standards. Manage and support preschool staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children. Engage with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress and address any concerns. Monitor and manage the preschool budget and financial health. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Coordinate extracurricular activities and events. Lead staff meetings and professional development sessions. Address behavioral or disciplinary issues as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of child development and educational practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to create a positive and inclusive school culture. Experience with budgeting and financial management. Knowledge of local, state, and federal education regulations.
