Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Platform Software Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience, located in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux and embedded systems.
Roles and Responsibility

Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Linux and embedded systems.

Design, develop, and debug Board support packages and drivers for various platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux and embedded systems.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.

Work independently or as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Job

Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Linux programming languages.

Experience with Yocto build tools and development of embedded Linux platforms.

Knowledge of ARM-based processor architecture and communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Flash, LAN, WLAN, and Bluetooth.

Familiarity with kernel-level debugging, JTAG debugging, and dump analysis tools.

Expertise in shell scripting using Perl or Python.

Experience with source control tools like Git or GitLab.

Ability to understand schematics and develop Board support packages and drivers.

Strong object-oriented design and design patterns knowledge.

Ability to work independently or as part of a group and be self-motivated.

Experience working in an agile environment.

Good to have medical domain knowledge.

Experience with Eclipse is desirable.
