Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against the baseline schedule.
Prepare and update project plans, Gantt charts, S-curves, and resource histograms.
Analyze deviations and delays, and suggest corrective measures.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for schedule integration.
Support in preparing progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
Participate in project meetings and provide inputs on schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
Assist in resource planning, cost forecasting, and productivity analysis.
Ensure adherence to project control standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
25 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in [industry, e.g., construction, oil & gas].
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Familiarity with project documentation, contract terms, and project lifecycle.

Preferred Skills:

PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
