Physiotherapy Internship

JOB DISCRIPTION We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist Intern to join our healthcare team. This internship provides hands-on clinical experience and the opportunity to work closely with licensed physiotherapists in delivering patient care. The intern will assist in assessments, therapy sessions, documentation, and patient education, while gaining valuable exposure to real-world physiotherapy practices. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Assist licensed physiotherapists in patient assessments and treatment sessions. Help plan and implement individualized treatment plans under supervision. Guide patients in performing prescribed exercises and monitor their progress. Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after sessions. Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling and patient follow-ups. Participate in case discussions, training sessions, and team meetings. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and rehabilitation goals. Adhere to hygiene, safety, and infection control standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical practice at all times. Education and Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT) from a recognized institution. Clinical training or practical experience through academic coursework is preferred. Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy techniques.
