PE Teacher

• Design & Deliver PE Curriculum

  • 
    Plan and conduct age-appropriate PE lessons for students from early years to secondary level.

  • 
    Incorporate fitness, motor skills, games, team sports, gymnastics, yoga, dance, and adapted physical activities.

  • 
    Utilize both theory and practical sessions to teach health, wellness, and development.

• 
  Assess & Monitor Progress

  • 
    Observe and evaluate individual student fitness, motor skills, and sportsmanship.

  • 
    Maintain assessment records and prepare progress reports.

• 
  Promote Safety & Inclusivity

  • 
    Ensure safety protocols and adaptive techniques for students of all abilities.

  • 
    Modify lessons to cater to differing physical and developmental needs.

• 
  Organize & Supervise Sports Events

  • 
    Manage inter- and intramural sports, competitions, and annual sports day.

  • 
    Coordinate with school leadership for event planning logistics.

• 
  Mentorship & Student Well-being

  • 
    Foster teamwork, leadership, and positive values through physical activity.

  • 
    Provide guidance, motivation, and emotional support during classes and events.

• 
  Resource & Equipment Management

  • 
    Maintain inventory, manage sports equipment, and ensure clean, safe environments.

  • 
    Assist in procuring necessary gear.

• 
  Collaboration & Professional Growth

  • 
    Work closely with curriculum coordinators, special educators, and therapists.

  • 
    Participate in staff development, training, and meetings to enhance PE methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (BPEd/MPEd) or a related field.
  

• Additional certification in inclusive education, adapted PE, or special needs is desirable.

• 
  Minimum 2–3 years of PE teaching experience, preferably in inclusive or international school settings.

• 
  Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, lesson delivery, fitness assessment, and adapted techniques.

• 
  Experience organizing sports events and assessing student performance.
