Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OT Incharge to oversee and manage the daily operations of the Operation Theatre (OT) at Guardian Hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning, maintain OT protocols, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and surgical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all activities in the Operation Theatre.
• Ensure pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative protocols are strictly followed.
• Maintain OT asepsis and sterility standards.
• Prepare and manage duty rosters of OT staff.
• Monitor availability and functionality of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff for OT scheduling.
• Oversee timely sterilization and availability of surgical supplies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and OT registers.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and biomedical waste management protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and training for OT staff.
• Handle emergencies efficiently and maintain calm in critical situations.
• Liaise with the CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) for instrument and linen management.
• Evaluate and report OT performance to the Hospital Management.

Qualification & Experience:

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing with valid registration.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in OT, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Certification in OT Management / Infection Control (preferred).

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of OT procedures, equipment, and protocols.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Working Hours:

As per hospital policy (Must be flexible during emergencies and surgeries)

Salary: Commensurate with experience and hospital norms
Job Location: Guardian Hospital, Haryana ,Ambala

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
