Job description As an Ophthalmology Surgical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting ophthalmologists during surgical procedures, with a focus on ophthalmology surgery. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the success of our practice and the well-being of our patients. Key Responsibilities: Assist ophthalmologists in a variety of surgical procedures, cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures,. Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Ensure aseptic techniques are maintained during surgery. Handle surgical instruments and supplies as needed during procedures. Assist in positioning and draping patients for surgery. Qualifications : Diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in healthcare is preferred. Proven experience as an Ophthalmology Surgical Assistant. Strong knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures, and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Show more Show less
