Urgent Hiring in Food Manufacturing Industry !!!!! NPD Executive Location: Cochin Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in spice or seasoning product development. Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field. Salary: 40,000 – 50,000 per month About the Role: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in developing spice blends and seasoning products and a passion for food innovation and quality. //Strong understanding of FSSAI, HACCP, and food safety standards// Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with a team of food technologists to develop and reformulate spice products. * Create new and innovative spice products from concept to market launch. * Manage multiple spice development projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. * Work closely with cross-functional teams—marketing, quality, production, and sourcing—to ensure seamless product development. * Reverse engineer and replicate competitive spice blends in terms of flavor, texture, color, and nutritional profile while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. * Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, including ingredient statements, nutritional information, product specs, and processing guidelines. * Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures. * Evaluate raw material alternatives to ensure formulation consistency. * Coordinate with the Quality team to comply with HACCP standards and all relevant food safety programs. * Provide support to production teams during project handoff and resolve formulation issues during scale-up. * Standardize recipes and product specifications as per FSSAI and other food industry regulations. * Offer technical support to QA/QC and production departments when required. * Maintain hygiene and safety protocols in the R&D lab. * Conduct sensory evaluations to ensure products meet quality and customer expectations.
