Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and passionate News Writer/Social Media Manager who understands the pulse of Tamil news audiences. You'll be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to expand our digital reach and community engagement.

Note:

• This is a Work from Office role (No Work from Home)
• Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily posting and engagement across all social media platforms
• Plan and execute content calendars aligned with news trends
• Write compelling Tamil captions and headlines to boost engagement
• Coordinate with design and editorial teams for visual and video content
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize content strategies
• Stay updated with digital trends, reels, and news-specific hashtags
• Respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Proven experience in social media management (1+ year preferred, freshers with strong skills may also apply)
• Strong Tamil writing and communication skills
• Understanding of current affairs and Tamil news culture
• Familiarity with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Instagram Reels, YouTube Studio, etc.)
• Basic design or video editing skills is a plus (Canva, CapCut, or Photoshop)
• Must own a personal smartphone and laptop
• Ability to join immediately
• Chennai-based candidates only (Work from Office)
