New Product Development Manager

New Product Development (NPD) Manager

The incumbent will lead end-to-end innovation in a fast-growing D2C beauty brand that believes in doing things differently — from fragrance creation to packaging to launch execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Fragrance Development

• Craft olfactive briefs that reflect Contraband’s unique voice
• Work with world-class fragrance houses to develop unforgettable scents
• Evaluate and refine EDPs, mists, oils & discovery formats

Packaging & Design

• Lead packaging development with a focus on modern, tactile, premium design
• Partner with design & production teams to bring ideas to shelf beautifully and feasibly

Vendor & Supply Chain Leadership

• Source and manage vendors for fragrance oils, components & packaging
• Ensure timelines, budgets & quality standards are hit without compromise

Compliance & Documentation

• Manage regulatory needs (IFRA, SDS, labeling, LM compliance, customs, etc.)
• Partner with legal teams to ensure full compliance across global SKUs

Project & Launch Management

• Run the full NPD process from concept to launch
• Align with marketing, ops & e-commerce teams to ensure flawless GTM

Ideal Profile:

• 5–10 years of experience in NPD — preferably in

  fine fragrance, beauty, or lifestyle D2C

• Strong knowledge of

  olfactive families

  , fragrance evaluation & market trends
• Comfortable working in agile, entrepreneurial environments
• Passionate about storytelling, aesthetic detail, and premium consumer experience
• Solid understanding of

  regulatory frameworks

  (IFRA, LM, alcohol-based handling)
• Background: Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Product Development, or Business. Master’s preferred.
