Network Developer 3

Support the design, deployment, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - OCI) with a primary focus on developing and supporting network fabric and systems. Your role involves understanding networking at the protocol level and utilizing programming skills to automate operations effectively in a production environment. The support covers tens of thousands of network devices and servers connected over a mix of dedicated network infrastructure and CLOS networks within the cloud-based global network. Your responsibilities include enhancing the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, and capacity planning of entire services and ecosystems. You will take ownership of critical projects and services while being recognized as a subject matter expert within the team. Collaborate with other teams to improve operational tooling, deployment processes, and mentor team members. Play a key role in driving operational maturity, managing technology migrations, and owning incident management procedures. Lead post-event actions, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve complex system issues as a specialized escalation point for outage events. Develop metrics, dashboards, and provide operational assessments for incoming systems for optimization. As a technical lead, you will handle project requirements, specifications, and documentation for moderately complex projects. Serve as a Tier 2 escalation point for network events, develop automation scripts for complex tasks, and provide technical guidance to staff. Collaborate with vendor engineering and account managers to address business and operational issues. The role also involves organizing technical milestones, coordinating tasks, advising leadership, and collaborating with other teams within the organization.
