Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Pune, the client is a well-established Indian R&D and manufacturing firm known for its specialized work in defense and aerospace electronics. With a team of nearly 100 professionals, the company has decades of experience in delivering mission-critical control systems and onboard instrumentation, primarily for naval applications. Their in-house capabilities span electronic circuit design, embedded software development (including RTOS), and precision mechanical fabrication, all built to meet stringent defense standards. The client also supports emerging sectors like UAVs and renewable energy, in line with the 'Make in India' initiative. Their main facility is a 13,000 sq. ft. space in MIDC Bhosari, Pune, supported by regional offices in Mumbai, Vizag, and Port Blair for on-ground service delivery. They are looking for a result-oriented BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER with OEM sales experience in the EMBEDDED TECHNOLOGIES domain. Title : Business Development Manager Work location : Pune (Bhosari MIDC) Qualifications: M.B.A-Marketing/ B.E with Electronics/Electrical qualification from a reputed University. Technical competency: 12 to 15 years hands-on experience in sales management, customer management & business generation Excellent command over spoken and written communication skills Preparation of Techno-Commercial Proposals and offering suitable solutions based on the tender specifications Business Development experience in Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) in automation industry having electrical switchgear, embedded controller products, PLCs, computers, Drives, VFDs, Electronic control systems preferably in marine domain Previous experience on Electronic Control System design / Project management will be an added advantage Experience in the defence domain will be an added advantage Role Synopsis: Designing & implementing the business development strategies that is focused at organisation objective Periodically review the sales plan and strategy with the key stake holders Keep abreast of organisations product line, competitors and new development. Arrange business development meetings with the existing and new customers Develop thorough research to identify new markets Maintain records of sales, revenue and sales Maintain cordial relationship with the existing customers/channel partners Individual competency & Offering: Looking for ambitious individual who is open for new challenges and product innovation A progressive career growth path is in place A work culture that supports continuous learning opportunity Lucrative compensation as per the industry standard.
