Murex L2 Support

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Murex applications and serve as the primary point of contact for all business stakeholders regarding Murex production incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to effective problem-solving initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the SRE roadmap of ITT, with a focus on long-term stability and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively across support teams and development units to ensure seamless operations.
• Deliver high-quality support services to business users, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage day-to-day production support for Murex/MLC/Risk users, including Front Office, Back Office, and Finance teams.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal support teams to maintain a smooth support ecosystem.
• Take ownership of high-severity issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Provide strategic, long-term solutions by participating in root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures to ensure production stability.
• Assist in deploying new versions of the application, adhering to release management best practices.
• Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills related to Murex and related technologies.
• Communicate effectively across various business units and support teams to ensure clear and efficient information flow.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Overall 4-5 years of experience working with Murex applications.
• Hands-on IT support experience, with a solid understanding of Murex modules.
• Prior development experience within Murex is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, such as AWS, is a plus.
• Technical proficiency in Sybase/Oracle SQL, Unix Shell scripting.
• Experience working on Unix/Linux platforms is essential; familiarity with Windows environments is advantageous.
