To ensure high-quality work, youll need to collect clients requirements and fully understand them. You should also be well-versed in design management. A business expert with administrative skills You should know how to win new clients in both international and domestic markets. Having a know-how of design contracts, commercial negotiations, market analyses and marketing processes will also be crucial to this role. To up your game as a design manager, youll need a strong technical background and expertise in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word and/or other scheduling software. Familiarity with AutoCAD gives you the competitive edge.
