Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified and experienced MEP Consultant with expertise in site investigation and the preparation of electrical and service drawings for infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, with over 10 years of experience, including at least one similar government project executed in the last 3 years.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct site investigations and assess MEP requirements based on project needs.
Prepare and review MEP service drawings, including electrical layouts, lighting, HVAC, and water supply systems.
Ensure all MEP designs are compliant with national and local regulations.
Provide technical inputs during planning, design, and execution stages.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project stakeholders.
Optimize designs to ensure cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions.
Prepare documentation for client submission, tendering, and government approvals.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree (M.Tech/M.E./Equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in MEP design and consultancy.
Mandatory: Experience in at least one similar government project within the last 3 years.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, and related tools.
In-depth knowledge of MEP standards, codes, and best practices.
Job Location
Based in West Bengal; field visits to project sites may be required.
