Job Description

The Role We’re looking to add a Marketing Manager - Contents & Community to our team who will work directly with the investment team at DeVC in our Bengaluru office. About DeVC Web: https://www.devc.com Li: https://www.linkedin.com/company/decentralizedvc/ DeVC has a wide network of experts — the Collective, our portfolio founders & friends of the firm. We seek to share their wisdom, hard-fought lessons and tactical tips with the wider startup ecosystem. This journey began in April 2024. Role: In this role, you would take end-to-end ownership to execute on a plan to surface DeVC’s content to a wider audience across multiple social media platforms, run our events and Dugouts and build deeper communities among our Collective and our Founders. Responsibilities: Content Ideation of content topics with the Investment Team, planning / sequencing the full lifecycle of the same (creation, editing, post-production, GTM etc) Social media ops: Scheduling & posting across SM handles + GTM on posting (i.e. engaging the wider network on WA, DMing or tagging relevant persons) Project management / liaison with our marketing agency to deliver media IP on time & up to standard. Ownership of media IP at DeVC i.e. setting goals / targets across various social media properties with inputs from the wider team. Community Ops: Management of various WhatsApp groups (across portfolio, 3rd party communities etc) Playbook: Engaging with 3rd party communities for co-branded events & engagements Events Events co-ordination: Pre-event attendee long & short lists, on-site management & post-event lifecycle execution (i.e. externalizing session takeaways on social media) Qualifications: Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 4-5 years of hands-on experience in content marketing, digital marketing or a related role, demonstrating a track record of successful campaigns and strategies. Sound understanding of venture capital, startup ecosystems, and industry trends. Good to Have: Proven B2B marketing experience, showcasing the ability to navigate and excel in business-to-business marketing environments. Key Skills: Excellent communication and storytelling skills. In-depth understanding of social media platforms and content optimization. Proficiency in SEO and website management.
