With a strong reputation for accuracy and customer satisfaction, we are expanding our presence in the Thirumudivakkam industrial hub and seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth while maintaining our high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development (60%)

• Identify and generate new business leads from mould/die makers, tool rooms, injection moulding companies, and related industries in and around Thirumudivakkam.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

• Visit client sites, understand their welding requirements, and offer suitable solutions.

• Follow up on enquiries, share quotes, and coordinate timely job execution with the operations team.

• Represent I Tech Laser at local industrial meets or networking opportunities.

• Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Plant Operations (40%)

• Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day welding operations at the plant to ensure timely delivery and quality work.

• Act as a bridge between the customers and the welding/technical team, ensuring customer requirements are clearly communicated and met.

• Monitor quality control processes and ensure all jobs are completed to customer specifications.

• Handle basic administrative tasks like job tracking, status reporting, and customer feedback.

• Ensure smooth workflow, materials availability, and team coordination in the plant.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business development, preferably in manufacturing, tooling, welding, or industrial services.

• Good understanding of moulds, dies, and precision welding is a strong advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Tamil and English.

• Ability to travel locally and interact with industries in and around Thirumudivakkam.

• Proactive, customer-focused, and result-oriented.

• Basic knowledge of plant operations and quality control processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Prior experience in tool room services, injection moulding, or welding-based industries.
