Job Summary

We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Madurai. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our basic plumbing and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of both plumbing and electrical components and a commitment to ensuring our facilities run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drainage, and water supply lines, to prevent issues and ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, outlets, and basic electrical equipment, to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Assist in the installation of new plumbing and electrical components and systems as needed, following blueprints and specifications.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests for plumbing and electrical issues, diagnosing problems and performing effective repairs.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing and electrical malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties, including Lockout/Tagout procedures for electrical work, to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient operations and address maintenance needs across the facility.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Qualifications

Education: +2 / Any Degree.

Experience: Proven experience in basic plumbing and electrical work is preferred, but we are open to candidates with strong foundational knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Knowledge of:

• Basic plumbing principles, including pipe fitting, leak detection, and drain clearing.
• Basic electrical principles, including wiring, circuit breakers, and common electrical repairs.
• Common tools and equipment used in plumbing and electrical work (e.g., wrenches, pliers, multimeters, wire strippers).

Other Requirements:

• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all company and legal safety standards and regulations.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting, bending, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
