Linux DevOps Engineer

Position: Linux DevOps Engineer Experience Required: Minimum 6+ Years Location: Gurgaon Job Type: Contract to hire (6 months) Notice Period: Immediate to 1 week max Mode of Interview: Virtual Working Days: Monday to Friday **Note:- Candidates having less than 6 Years of Experience do not apply Job Summary/ Overview: Looking for engineers with the following skills and experience: Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, preferably Ubuntu Server Proficient in Linux command-line interface (CLI) and Bash shell scripting Familiar with installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux operating systems and related software/packages Hands on experience of writing Bash command line tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and setup a system with custom configuration and package installation Possessing excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems Understanding of CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc. Having hands-on experience on creating custom Docker images and deploying them using docker-compose Nice to have experience on virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V or VMware Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams Job Type: Contractual / Temporary Contract length: 6 months Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹1,440,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Application Question(s): What is your overall experience?
