Lead Machine Learning Engineer

You will be part of the Emerging Tech Proof of Concept Team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), working within the Data and Analytics operations function. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting various Data Science capabilities. Operating in an Agile manner, your focus will be on prioritizing and delivering value efficiently while also considering long-term initiatives and technical capabilities to enhance our service offerings. Your role will involve owning the technical solutions developed by the team, developing functional modules for wider usage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions. You will be responsible for creating Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products (MVP) to validate different approaches for various use cases. Additionally, you will develop codebases and modules to support the deployment of AI/ML models using relevant technologies. Collaboration with Architects and Cloud engineers will be essential for integrating the developed solutions with Technology platforms. You will also work closely with the team to establish and oversee the evaluation criteria of POCs and MVPs, and provide support in other relevant areas when needed. Furthermore, you will collaborate with Operations and Technology teams to ensure successful project outcomes. To excel in this role, you should possess extensive experience as a Machine Learning Engineer with a track record of working on projects across all stages of the ML Lifecycle. Your expertise should include developing scalable solutions for use cases in Extraction and Reasoning using Python programming and SQL. Knowledge of MLOps approaches, AWS services, cloud environments, and AI/ML solution development and deployment will be crucial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills are also required.
