Landscape supervisor

You will be responsible for overseeing landscaping crews to ensure the successful completion of various landscaping projects. Your role will involve supervising daily activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring work progress to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will need to have hands-on leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of landscape installation, maintenance, and safety procedures. Key responsibilities include coordinating landscaping teams, reading landscape plans, operating equipment, ensuring safety compliance, training new employees, communicating with clients and management, monitoring plant health, and keeping accurate records of work performed. You will also be required to handle customer inquiries and resolve on-site issues as necessary. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a landscape supervisor, strong knowledge of landscape installation, maintenance, irrigation systems, and plant care. You must be able to lead and motivate a team effectively, possess excellent time management and organizational skills, and be familiar with landscaping tools and safety protocols. Additionally, the ability to read technical documents and blueprints, hold a valid driver's license (CDL preferred in some positions), and be bilingual (English/Spanish) are advantageous qualifications. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery.
