Job Description

The Landscape Draftsman role based in Gurgaon involves preparing high-quality technical drawings and detailed landscape plans under the guidance of landscape architects. You will be responsible for converting conceptual sketches into accurate CAD and BIM drawings, assisting in the creation of tender and construction documents, and ensuring compliance with industry and project standards. Your main responsibilities will include preparing detailed 2D drawings, sections, layouts, and planting plans using drafting tools such as AutoCAD and Revit. You will collaborate with landscape architects and engineers to translate design concepts into working drawings, ensuring accuracy, updates, and adherence to standards. Additionally, you will support in preparing tender packages, quantity take-offs, and BOQs, as well as updating drawings based on feedback and design changes. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma or Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Civil Engineering with at least 3-7 years of experience as a draftsman, preferably in landscape or site development projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must, while knowledge of other drafting and visualization tools is a plus. Experience with urban landscape, parks, streetscapes, or public realm projects is preferred, along with an understanding of landscape materials, plants, site grading, and detailing. Key skills and competencies required for this role include strong drafting and technical detailing abilities, a good understanding of landscape construction elements and materials, high attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines, and effective collaboration and communication skills. Familiarity with regional landscape codes and standards would be beneficial for this position.,
