Job Title: Interior Designer Location: Hyderabad Department: Design & Projects Reporting To: Senior Interior Designer / Design Manager Job Overview We are looking for a talented Interior Designer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, youll be responsible for creating interior designs for finalized sites, preparing CAD drawings, and creating mood boards and 3D renders. If you are passionate about design, have a keen eye for detail, and are skilled in CAD and 3D rendering, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities Design Creation Develop innovative and functional interior designs for finalized office or experience centre spaces. Your designs will need to align with the company’s aesthetic and operational goals. Site Surveys & CAD Drawing Conduct site surveys to gather necessary information, and prepare CAD drawings if base files aren’t available. Ensure that all drawings are accurate and to scale. Design Documentation Create detailed design layouts, elevation plans, and furniture placements to be used for project implementation. Document all design stages clearly for the team. Mood Boards & Material Selection Prepare mood boards that capture the look and feel of the space. Help select materials, finishes, and colors that complement the overall design. 3D Renders & Visual Presentations Produce 3D visualizations and renders to give stakeholders a clear picture of the final design. Use these visuals for presentations to clients and internal teams. Project Coordination Collaborate with senior designers, project managers, and vendors to ensure that the design is executed properly on site. Address any design-related queries that arise during implementation. Revisions & Final Adjustments Revise and update designs based on feedback from the team and clients. Ensure that all final drawings are ready for construction. Requirements A degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture. At least 2 years of experience working on interior design projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, and other relevant design software. Strong understanding of design principles and materials. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Work Environment The role is primarily studio-based, with occasional site visits for measurements, reviews, and project coordination. Qualification: Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or related field. Experience: 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting roles, preferably in process engineering. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Responsibilities: 1. Create and update process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD. 2. Assist in the development and modification of process and equipment datasheets, line lists, and other relevant documentation under the guidance of senior engineers. 3. Collaborate with process engineers to ensure accurate representation of process designs and specifications in CAD drawings. 4. Prepare detailed drawings and layouts of process equipment and piping systems, ensuring compliance with applicable Codes & Standards. 5. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate design inputs and ensure consistency of project deliverables. 6. Participate in document and drawing checking and review processes to ensure quality and accuracy. 7. Support the Lead Engineer in drafting-related tasks, including work planning, progress monitoring, and adherence to project schedules. 8. Assist in maintaining an organized and up-to-date CAD library and documentation system. 9. Learn and assist in all departmental functions related to CAD drafting in process engineering. Additional Skills: 1. Basic knowledge of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus. 2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design work. 3. Willingness to learn and adapt to new drafting technologies and standards. 4. Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. 5.
