Junior Design Engineer Simulator Development

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Haridwar Campus, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Design Engineer - Simulator Development. As a Junior Design Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating innovative simulators for skill training. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing proof-of-concepts for various simulators, ensuring functionality, safety, and user experience are at the forefront of the development process. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including senior designers, engineers, and stakeholders, will be essential to refine designs and achieve project goals. You will be involved in conducting research to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in simulator design. Additionally, participation in testing and validation of simulator prototypes will be part of your role, with a focus on identifying areas for improvement. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field) or Physics. A minimum of 6 months of basic experience in design is required, along with familiarity with safety standards and regulations. Proficiency in design tools, strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential qualities for this position. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and ensure that designs adhere to safety standards and industry guidelines. Documentation of design processes, testing procedures, and results will also be a part of your responsibilities.
