Objective Of This Role(Brief description of the role, why are we hiring, and what will person in this role do) IT Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) is the global delivery and support operations center groups global locations and subsidiaries. EOC manages the IT Infrastructure (Server /Datacenter, collaboration and Messaging, Network LAN/ WAN / Wi-Fi and Firewall security) and Enterprise IT Applications predominantly SAP portfolio) along with Mobile Applications Platforms as well. The center is also accountable
for delivering high value and high visibility IT projects & programs across various IT domains.As IT Specialist Backup Services, you have to provide high-level technical expertise in the area ofCommvaultBackup administration and troubleshooting. This individual would be responsible for implementing & enabling IT strategies defined by senior management in order to achieve the organizationalobjectives. Further, this individual would be responsible to ensure that the established processes to meet the regulatory and corporate security requirements are respected and optimized, in a fast paced and criticalenvironment. You need to develop the strategy and ensure the operation, integration into the infrastructure services and interact with the business to ensure a maximum of usability.Tasks & Responsibilities(Major task and role person will have to perform list all the relevantpoints)1. Manage and maintain the company's Backup-Systems based onCommvault.2. Work with existing System Administrators and DBAs to optimize backup, restore and replication3. Implement and maintain self-service for Backup System4. Implement and maintain Backup as a Service for Subsidiaries5. Provide architecture and performance recommendations within the IT infrastructure team.6. Ensure backup methods are in place and working properly7. Review system performance, capacity forecasting and efficiency.8. Analyzes and resolves complex backup problems across the enterprise, related to replicationstrategies, and storage strategies across wide area networks.9. Provides recommendations on storage upgrades and supports project integration as required.10. Case-Handling with several vendorsEducation & Trainings + Certifications(Basic & Professional)University Degree and Certifications in the technology related field.CommvaultMaster (preferred)ITIL CertificationTechnical know-how(Mention the technology on which person must be experienced)MandatoryShould have technical knowledge on following:CommvaultBackup TechnologiesSnapshot Management for HPE Storage SystemsCloud ApplicationsLinux based Media AgentsExperience in troubleshooting Windows Server, complex computing platforms, storage systemsincluding SAN and NAS arrays, and cutting-edge technologies involving virtualization, high availabilityand Databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, HANA)Experience with VMWare, Linux and Microsoft Windows-Server technologiesExperience with NetApp and HPE 3PAR/Primera arrays is preferredDeep understanding of storage protocols such as NFS, CIFS, FC, etc., backup and recoverySoft Skills:
