Job Description

Prepare and submit accurate claims for inpatient services using the UB-04 billing format.
Ensure all required clinical and demographic documentation is complete and accurate before claim submission.
Review patient charts and documentation to ensure proper coding and billing.
Verify patient insurance coverage and authorization prior to billing.
Monitor claim status and perform timely follow-up on unpaid or rejected claims.
Resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and payer rejections by working with coding and other departments.
Appeal denied or underpaid claims in accordance with payer-specific guidelines.
Post payments, adjustments, and write-offs accurately in the billing system.
Maintain current knowledge of hospital billing regulations and payer requirements.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, hospital policies, and applicable billing regulations.
Generate and review aging reports and take necessary actions to resolve outstanding accounts.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
